Rushton Home Renovation focused on updating a Toronto home with modern finishes and refreshed interior details to create a cleaner, brighter, and more comfortable living space.
One of the major challenges of this project was trying to get the house clear of all furniture and accessories to be able to complete the project. Therefore, we rented outdoor storage however, it was very limited on space as it’s a semi located in Toronto and driveway space is limited as well.
Another challenge was the structural integrity of the home. Midway through the project, we noticed the prior homeowner removed some structural support which resulted in the structure moving. With help from our engineering team and our experience we were able to come up with solutions which we executed and resolved the issues on site.
Lastly, another challenge was being able to fit a tub of that size within the washroom due to the room size.
Standout Features of the Project
This was a semi-detached home in Toronto which needed a full reno by replacing flooring and wall removal to create more of an open space concept.
The primary ensuite has been completely upgraded to a modern washroom featuring a new curb less shower with freestanding bathtub.
The space also features an upgraded fireplace, new flooring, new drywall work, and an upgraded staircase.
