Jash Design & Build Inc. is a full-service design-build firm creating refined residential and commercial spaces with a focus on quality, trust, and long-term value. Founded in September 2009, we have grown from small renovations into a turnkey construction and renovation firm known for thoughtful design, strong project management, and lasting work.
The Evolution of Jash Design & Build
Over the years, our experience has expanded from residential renovations into additions, custom homes, restaurant renovations, commercial interiors, and full ground-up builds. A key part of our growth began in 2011, when we completed our first Wild Wing restaurant project and went on to build 22 Wild Wing locations throughout Toronto and the GTA. From there, our commercial work continued into law offices, dental offices, medical offices, and complete medical buildings. A key commercial milestone came in 2015 with Sodhi Law, which led us into more law office projects, followed by dental and medical spaces, including 139 Shepherd, a complete medical building built from the ground up.
Our growth happened gradually. After completing restaurant projects, clients began approaching us for additions and custom homes, allowing us to expand from small renovations into complete builds. One of our most memorable custom home projects was 28 Maryvale Crescent, completed in 2017. The home included custom interior and exterior details, including a cigar room, backlit stone, plaster work, mouldings, a ravine lot, a pool permit that required careful coordination, a firepit, and a resort-style backyard. Another key milestone was 12 Oakbank, completed in 2021, a luxury custom home with castle-like features, natural stone, copper rounded roofs, a large entry gate, custom millwork, plaster walls and mouldings, a 20-foot rounded skylight, custom stained arched doors, a basketball court, and many other detailed custom features.
Today, Jash Design & Build works closely with homeowners, property owners, and commercial clients on full home renovations, additions, top-ups, custom homes, commercial interiors, and new builds. From the earliest planning stages through permits, design development, material selection, construction, and final delivery, every project is approached with care, clarity, and accountability.

I founded Jash Design & Build in September 2009, but my experience in construction started long before that.
I grew up around construction in Iran, watching and learning from my father from a young age. I distinctly remember being 10 years old and being on site with him while he was building a low-rise building. Being around construction that early gave me a strong respect for the work, the details, the trades, and the planning that goes into every project.
Even as a child, I was always curious about how things were made. Most kids would play with their toys, but I would open them up to understand what was inside and how everything worked together. That curiosity stayed with me. Today, it helps me look at construction challenges differently, understand how details connect, and find practical answers on site.
After moving to Canada at 13, I later moved to New York in 2002 to work with my cousin’s construction company. During that time, I worked on many types of projects, including government housing contracts, residential work, commercial spaces, restoration, renovations, police stations, subway stations, and projects throughout New York City’s five boroughs.
New York taught me the importance of workmanship, detail, project oversight, and problem solving. That experience also taught me the business operations and management side of running a construction company, which became a major foundation for how I lead projects today. When I returned to Canada in 2008, I worked for another construction company for one year before starting Jash Design & Build in 2009.

Construction involves many choices that affect budget, timeline, quality, and long-term performance. That means being honest about budgets, material options, and the best path forward. We do not believe in cutting corners for speed – we believe in building the right way, with the right team, from the start.

We have built long-standing relationships with trades who are dedicated to their work, and we believe that the right team is one of the most important parts of a successful project.
From site protection and dust control to clear coordination and follow-through, we want every client to feel respected, informed, and confident throughout the process. We take care to cover floors, stairs, walls, elevators, carpets, marble, and finished areas as needed, using barriers, controlled demolition, and negative air when required.
We also believe relationships should continue beyond the final walkthrough. Many of our clients return to us for future projects, recommendations, and property maintenance because they know we stand behind our work and remain accountable after the job is complete.

We have experience with difficult designs, complex construction conditions, custom details, high-end finishes, commercial spaces, and projects that require problem solving from the beginning. We are often able to take on work that other contractors may avoid because we understand how to plan, coordinate, and build in demanding situations. We are often called for projects that require more planning, more problem solving, and more construction knowledge. These are the projects we are built for.

Early Years
Construction Roots
- Ash Moeini grew up around construction in Iran, learning from his father from a young age.

New York Experience

Return to Canada

2009
Jash Design & Build Founded
- Jash Design & Build was founded in September 2009.
- The company began with small renovation projects.
- The foundation of the business was built on Ash’s love of construction, creative thinking, and commitment to doing the work properly.
2011
Restaurant Renovation Growth
- Jash Design & Build began taking on restaurant renovation projects.
- A Wild Wing client contacted the team after issues with another contractor.
- After completing the first restaurant successfully, Jash Design & Build went on to build 22 Wild Wing locations throughout Toronto and the GTA.
2015
Commercial Expansion
- Sodhi Law became a key commercial milestone.
- This project helped lead to more law office renovations.
- The company later expanded into dental offices, medical offices, and larger commercial spaces.
2021
Oakbank Custom Home
- Jash Design & Build completed a major luxury custom home milestone.
- The project included natural stone, copper rounded roofs, a large entry gate, custom millwork, plaster walls and mouldings, a 20-foot rounded skylight, custom stained arched doors, a basketball court, and other detailed custom features.
2025
Ground-Up Medical Building Work
- As commercial projects continued to grow, Jash Design & Build expanded into larger medical construction.
- The team completed 139 Shepherd, a medical building built from the ground up.
- This marked another step in the company’s ability to manage larger and more complex commercial builds.
2026
Continued Growth
- Around eight years before the 2026 timeline review, Jash Design & Build began expanding its project capacity, trade network, and internal team.
- The company continues to grow while staying focused on strong project management, quality work, and long-term client relationships.
