Challenges
- We completed 22 locations throughout the GTA. Each site came with its own unique base building site conditions and constraints, all of which must comply with building code, corporate head office standards, and franchise owner’s requirements.
- The roof openings for the exhaust and makeup air units caused a challenge as they required structural supports.
- The sprinklers were a challenge as they were existing however, due to a new layout in the space they had to be moved and adjusted.
- The raw wood planks throughout were a bit of a challenge as they had to be stained just right to match and give the desired look for the client which was the Wild West theme.
- The hand painted murals by the artists were a challenge as they were very time consuming.
Standout Features of the Project
- The hand painted murals by local artists are a beautiful feature within the space. The amount of detail that went into each mural help contribute to the theme of the Wild West. The murals are accented by details such as license plates, faux trees, and wood finishes.
- The look of the restaurant is a feature. Walking into the restaurant you feel as if you are in a Saloon in the Wild West.
- The use of wood is a feature within this restaurant. This includes the beautiful thick timbers across the ceiling and the wood on the feature walls that’s site stained.
